Who I am...
My name is Vivien Smith and I am a planting designer.
I live in Chislehurst, South East London and love working with plants.
After a career in Human Resources in the city, I retrained in horticulture.
I have a diploma in Horticulture from the English Gardening School and a diploma in Planting Design from the London College of Garden Design.
I use my 1/2 acre garden to trial many plants and planting combinations for my clients.
I provide practical advice to help clients improve, maintain, or refresh the planting in their gardens.
I also provide consultancy advice on the maintenance and pruning needs of specific plants and maintenance plans for garden spaces.

I work in the Greater London, South East and Kent areas.

Recent Projects
I have recently worked on an array of different projects for very different clients.
For example, I've just finished designing and planting the garden for local NHS Surgery, Broomwood Health Centre.
